One of the keys to understand Japanese culture is the art of flower arrangement known as IKEBANA.

It goes back to the 6th century a.C. under the influence of Buddhism and has evolved through history to the present day, enhanced by the sensitivity and respect for nature that the Japanese culture feels for it. This ancient art (where the emphasis is on its graceful lines, the harmony of the colour combination, and the relationship between space and shape), is closely linked to other aspects of Eastern culture such us calligraphy, tea ceremony and haiku poetry.

To develop this modern and contemporary collection we were inspired by these floral arrangements following the latest fashion trends, creating tree bark textures (Kyoto) and an elegant velvets: a plain with a subtle embossed (Kenzan).
